Generational curses: How they come about & their effects with Rev. Prince Yeboah

Generational curses often come about as a result of ancestral sins, unresolved offences, negative spiritual covenants and other negative spiritual practices with dire consequences on individuals physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is however important to note that sometimes, the intentions of our ancestors at the time was not evil and that those conditions that might have led to these spiritual menaces were hidden from them.

Operating like spiritual yokes or chains binding family members to a cycle of repeated pain, failures and setbacks, a generational curse happens to be a spiritual condition in which negative patterns of misfortunes, misbehaviors or afflictions are passed down from one generation to another within the bloodline of the said family.

Even though we may not be aware of their origin, but in their quest for spiritual protection and breakthrough, in securing wealth, riches and power and to be able to conquer and acquire more territories for their generations unborn led to some of the actions taken by our forefathers. Those spiritual actions they take may create some shifts in energies causing some spiritual doors to open. The force of energy behind those open doors or offences may influence the lives of the generations unborn when those opened spiritual doors are not rightly closed.

Spiritually, however, there are some legal grounds upon which some of these generational curses begin to operate against us, such unfulfilled wow or covenant made by our ancestors, their involvement in demonic worship, blood sacrifices that can invite forces from the dark realm and unknowingly bind their descendants to demonic influences leading to chronic physical or mental illnesses multiple failures and setbacks, affecting our general well-being.
